Birthdays and Signs
Happy rainy days to you!
I have a couple of products to show you today…I am slowly getting some stuff done besides office work and it feels so good!
Wedding Subway Art
I apologize for my site being down for a few days.
Awhile ago, I said that I thought I’d leave my site alone and not make any major changes to it…
!!SO RIGHT WRONG!!
I hope that you’ll be patient and bear with me. I am working on slowly putting products on my site to sell instead of just having them on Etsy. This will take some time and for now there will just be small minor changes as I have time… [read more]
Happy Belated Valentine’s Day
Happy Valentine’s Day for yesterday!
I know this is a little late to share since the actual day was yesterday…but here are a couple of pictures from a custom order I did….and they are a little on the theme of Valentine’s Day…
These 9″x12″wooden wall hangings are made from pine. I routed the edges and painted the wood black. I used vinyl (per request) for the writing and the heart and then distressed the edges. This sign is sealed with polyurethane and comes ready to hang with a saw tooth hanger.
The first one is 12″x9″ with the saying: Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite. [read more]
Hi There! Welcome
Hi There!
So nice to see you
WELCOME
SIT AND STAY AWHILE
SO GLAD you are here!
I’ve seen a few different styles of wooden signs with a stained wooden edge. I really like it for a change and I think it makes the sign a little more dressy by looking like a framed piece of art. I came across this combination of words for a welcome sign and liked it immediately. I made this one for myself as a sample and decided if I like it enough, I’ll make some exactly like this to sell. Christmas Custom Orders Reveal
Happy New Year to all my faithful blog readers and customers!
Today I will share with you some of the custom orders I did before Christmas. I hinted about them in a few different posts here, here, here, here, and here.
I had been wanting to try some family name signs for a while and managed to get 3 done. The more I work with vinyl the more I LOVE it! I’m dreaming of “someday” getting a bigger vinyl cutter. But for now my trusty Cameo will do.

Let’s Take a Look Back On 2012
Today I will be taking a look back on some of my projects and posts from 2012.
January held a few big events for me.
I started the year out with a DIY project and actually created my own wooden ladder. I love it and have tried it in various spots in my house… [read more]
“I’ll have a long beard by the time I read them”
I know, I know. I won’t really have a long beard, but I love the saying for my library area!
I’ve been looking for some sort of saying for my library for a long time and saw this one the other day. It makes me think of when I was a child…reading books…and oh how my imagination worked! I’d travel all over the world through the books that I read! I’ve never always had an over worked imagination mind you!
Once again I can’t remember where I saw this saying…I’m sorry! I’m trying to remember to keep track of where I see things and get my ideas from!
Any how, I wrote it down right away and put it at the top of my list of projects to do. [read more]
Greeting Cards, a Wall Hanging and B-day Decorations
This post basically consists of photos. I have made some more cards, another wall hanging and I tried my hand at some decorations for a birthday party. I love to bake and cook but I’m NOT a cake decorator as you can tell by the icing job.
My apologies for not giving more of an explanation.
ENJOY! [read more]
