I'm a little late with informing you of my sales for Black Friday & Cyber Monday...
I apologize for the delay in updating you all. My Christmas decor is for sale. I've added some new signs...changed up the snowmen a bit...I've been selling Christmas decor now for a couple of weeks.
That's why I feel so terrible that I haven't posted on here. I've been shocked by how much has so
Thank you so much to each one of you who came by on Festive Friday! I was completely blown away by the support I felt.
And the winners of the $20 gift cards are:
Today I'm going to share with you how I made a wooden fox.
My niece turned 8 this last weekend. I phoned her and our conversation went a little like this...
"What would you like for your birthday? I haven't gone shopping yet."
"I'd like a fox."
"A wooden fox?"
"Yes!! A wooden fox. Pink and white. The part that's usually white should be pink, and the part that's usually orange should be white."
"Okay...and what size were you thinking?"
Ashlyn from Market Made and myself are co-hosting a Christmas Sign Workshop. The details are shown in the poster above.
There are only 8 seats available per workshop, so you will need to book right away if you want to get in.
I had a custom order request on very short notice from our local Ford dealer, Roblin Ford. They were looking for a special retirement gift for a long term employee who was actually the former owner.
I agreed to take on the challenge. :)
Today I want to show you a few custom orders of late.
This large print was brought to me with the request to build a new wooden frame for it. This amazing print measured 24" x 37" which made this the largest wooden frame I've made to date. It's amazing how the print pops which a wide wooden frame around it.
I'm really excited to show you what I've been making lately. I've been wanting to make some wooden arrows for some time now but never had the chance.
Well, the wait is over now. I finally had time and went ahead and built some arrows.
I've made two different styles. As you can see above the colorful arrows are fairly large.
YOU could win a $20 gift card for Netties Expressions. It can be redeemed in store or through my Online Shop.

I know this is a little short notice, but I'm going to host a giveaway. I appreciate each of you as my customers, friends and family. If it wasn't for your continued support, I wouldn't be able to keep on with this little hobby which is slowly growing into more of a business.
We are just about to celebrate Thanksgiving Day here in Canada. I thought this would be a good time to express my appreciation to each of my customers by hosting a giveaway.
This post is slightly in advance but I thought I would share this to give you all a heads up on what I'm planning for this fall.
I have been going to the Roblin Craft Show since back in 2008. This will be my first year not going to this craft show. I have a lot of mixed feelings about not actually having a booth there. On one hand I'm relieved and the other I'm feeling like I'm missing out on
Are you looking for a fall centerpiece for your table, buffet, dresser or mantle? I finally got my supplies in for turning these ordinary, universal wooden boxes into some beautiful fall centerpieces.
Drop by to check these out. They are available in a few different sizes. You can still buy the box as a plain box if you prefer so that you can create your own centerpiece.
I haven't been keeping up with sharing pictures of some of my custom orders. So I thought I'd share some pictures with you today.
The picture above is a custom sign order for a local bed & breakfast.
Happy National Coffee Day! Better late than never.
I thought it was maybe time to do a little history on the making of my little hobby/business, Netties Expressions. Share some behind the scenes information with you and give you a little feel of what all goes into my handmade products.
You can read more about some of the details HERE.
People often ask me, "How did you come up with your name?".
