Custom Baby Stats Art Prints - The Process
I thought it would be fun to share the process of creating my customized Baby Stats Art Prints with you today.
I’m currently working on coming up with a few more designs, but I’ll share with you what I have today.
The first sample: I had a customer purchase the Baby Girl Stats art print shown below. They gave me the information and had a few custom requests. They wanted the little saying at the bottom of the print changed to, “Our blessing from above”, and they wanted the font colours to match the colour scheme in the baby room.
They sent this picture below for me to take the colours from in order to match the bedding. BTW: the bedding is really cute.
I use Adobe Illustrator for creating my art prints. First of all I changed the birth information and saying. Then I selected the text and used the dropper to pull the colour for the font out of the photo. I did this for each colour before sending a proof to the customer.
And this was the final result. The colours shown were pulled from the photograph and the customer was happy with the outcome.
The second sample: The customer ordered the truck baby stats print but requested footprints instead of the truck. There was also no saying at the bottom.
She ordered this for a friend and wanted it to match the baby room so she sent along the photo below. The photo is blurred to protect the identity of the people. I was supposed to take the colour from the walls to create the font colours. I used the same method as described above.
This was the final copy which was sent as a proof to the customer before printing. The customer was happy with the colours from this final proof.
