Quitting with Custom Orders for the time being
I have some news to share with you. I'm quitting with all Custom Orders for the time being.
I've enjoyed making custom pieces for you as my customers, but have come to the realization that it's time to quit with this side of my business for now. I've taken a step back again to look at what I can do to make my business easier to manage, as well as have a life myself. 😊
It never really was my intention to get into full-time custom orders. I have a hard time saying "no" to people which resulted in taking on a lot of custom orders. My options have been completely unlimited and I've been finding myself burning out from doing so many custom pieces. I find that when I offer unlimited options it makes it much harder for people to choose what they want to buy. Custom orders take a lot of time and are often a one-time item which I'll never make again for anyone else.
I offer a lot of ready to ship products as well as made to order signs. My "made to order" signs are signs I've made but don't currently have in stock at the moment. These have a production time assigned to them as they will be made after you have purchased them.
