FAT Paint Company (TFPC) makes artisan chalk-style paint, NOT chalk paint. FAT Paint is a latex-based paint “FAT’n’d” up with a little bit of chalky minerals. Hence the clever name.
Netties Expressions holds Sign Painting Workshops throughout the year. Groups of 4 allows for a more intimate and relaxing setting. It also allows me to give each of you more one-on-one time with your sign.
I just realized that I haven't posted here about the Ladies' Night of Shopping in Roblin. Seven of us small shops in Roblin are taking part in this as you can see by the image above.
This is the perfect chance to shop small and shop local this Christmas! Get a few of your friends to go with you.
This private shopping event is now on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets are $10 and all proceeds from the tickets will go to our local food bank. Tickets are available through all the participating shops.
Each shop will be having some discounts as well as serving appetizers and desserts.
There will be a gift basket which you can enter to win. The gift basket is put together with items from each participating business. You will notice boxes on the back of your ticket. You must visit each business and have the owner initial their box. Once all seven boxes are filled, you can enter your card into the draw.
Keep the evening enjoyable for all the businesses and make sure that you stop by each one! Everyone is serving something different and each shop is unique in itself. It will be important to keep the flow of people moving through the different stores. Not everybody can start off at the same place. This is our first year doing this, so we ask for your patience with us as we do our best to make the evening a success.
The businesses taking part are:
We're looking forward to seeing you!

Today I'm going to share a very simple DIY project. You can copy this if you like or use this to get your own ideas going. It's always amazing to me what a little paint and some flowers can do.
