I just wrote and published my first book!

Eeeek!

You heard me correctly.

And yes, it's just a children's book.

But...it's something that I've been wanting to do for so long. Specifically write a book about the Christmas story. I thought it would be perfect to sell as well as my nativity sets. And I finally did it!

This is a real true children's book published by "yours truly".

Prior to actually doing this, the only thing stopping me was the illustrations. I wasn't sure what to do about it. I wanted it to go together with the rest of my products.

Enter my talented sister-in-law...I hired her to illustrate this book for me. She did a beautiful job of it. I coloured her illustrations to add an extra touch to the book.

This book tells the story of how baby Jesus was born in a manger. It's told in a very simple and easy to understand manner.

I love, love reading stories to my nieces and nephew. It's sort of one of our "things" when we're together. There's nothing more cozy then all crowding together to read some stories. I love buying books for them and also buying books to have on hand when they come over.

I wrote this book as if  I'm actually telling them the story myself. It's actually how I wrote the book. I told the story to my Mom and wrote it down as I told it to her.

This gives you a glimpse of the cover. I think it turned out beautifully!

And here's a sneak peek of the inside of the book. I'm just amazed at my sister-in-law's talent!

I had my four oldest nieces and nephew help me out with this book. Their contribution to the book is at the back of the book...and I can tell you, it's really sweet. It's child-like, but so sweet.

These books are now available to purchase either in store or oline.

Right now, if you purchase both the nativity set and the book, you'll get 10% off the book.
