"Walk a little slower, Daddy," said a child so small. "I'm following in your footsteps and I don't want to fall. Sometimes your steps are very fast, Sometimes they're hard to see; So, walk a little slower, Daddy, For you are leading me. Someday when I'm all grown up, You're what I want to be; Then I will have a little child Who'll want to follow me. And I would want to lead just right, And know that I was true; So, walk a little slower, Daddy, For I must follow you." - Bobbie Norman
This handmade rustic wooden framed sign is made from 3/4" GIS (good-one-side plywood) and measures approximately 16"W X 20"L X 0.75"D. The frame is 0.5" wide and adds 0.5" on to each side of the sign.
There is no vinyl on this wall hanging. This sign is hand painted with FAT Paint, distressed and finished with a wood sealer. Hanging hardware is attached to the back making this sign ready to hanging.
Please make a note during checkout whether you want the frame to be flush with the sign as pictured or if you want the frame to stick out past the sign like my current framed signs.
Customize your sign: Please select your choices of Silhouettes available and write them in the correct order with the parent being on the far right. The standard direction for the silhouettes to face is towards the right. If you want the silhouettes to face towards the left, please make sure to request this. If there's more than three children the layout of the poem will be slightly changed as you can see in the third sample.
